During the Revolutionary War the colonists moved their channel markers (marking the entrances to harbors/ports) so that it was safe to stay on the right side of the marker. The British (and previously the colonists) rode their boats on the left side of the marker to stay safe. Thus when the British tried to attack via ships coming through the channel they grounded their boats by going left. So chock it up to us sneaky Americans. That's my theory anyway."/>
				</outline>
			<outline text="Martin's take">
				<outline text="New comment posted on your Radio weblog."/>
				<outline text=""/>
				<outline text="Commenter's name: "/>
				<outline text="Martin - Green Dragon"/>
				<outline text=""/>
				<outline text="Email address: "/>
				<outline text="office@greendragononline.co.uk"/>
				<outline text=""/>
				<outline text="Web site: "/>
				<outline text="http://www.greendragononline.co.uk"/>
				<outline text=""/>
				<outline text="IP address: "/>
				<outline text="81.154.8.154"/>
				<outline text=""/>
				<outline text="Domain name: "/>
				<outline text="host81-154-8-154.range81-154.btcentralplus.com"/>
				<outline text=""/>
				<outline text="Commenting on: "/>
				<outline text="http://www.blognewsnetwork.com/members/0000001/2004/11/21.html#a6895"/>
				<outline text=""/>
				<outline text=""/>
				<outline text="It's quite simple why we drive on the left - all our cars are right hand drive, and if we drove on the right we wouldn't be able to see the traffic lights and directional signposts!!!
